DeShawn Bullard AKA “The Hair Coach”
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, DeShawn Bullard is one of the Beauty Industry’s top leaders and entrepreneurs. This diversified young lady has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Tuskegee University. After obtaining her degree, she worked as a computer programmer for 7 years. While working as a computer programmer, she received her training in cosmetology. Her love for cosmetology and desire for entrepreneurship pushed her to leave her job as a computer programmer and pursue a dream.
As a multi-award winning Celebrity Hair Stylist, DeShawn is known and recognized as one who educates, motivates, encourages and empower industry professionals on how to take their business to the next level. Her dynamic style of teaching afforded her opportunities to travel nationally and internationally to such places as Canada, Brazil, Bahamas and the Virgin Islands educating stylists about the latest in hair care, business and the use of technology for the salon industry.
Salon Sense Magazine has selected her year after year (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007) as one of the 50 most influential women in the beauty industry.
This celebrity hair stylist has worked with such celebrities as T-Boz of TLC a member of the #1 Contemporary R&B Girl Group in history, Betty Wright, Dottie Peoples, LaShun Pace and Dorothy Norwood.
She is the creator and developer of her very own hair product line NouriTress Perfect Hair Products for women experiencing hair thinning & hair loss. She is also the creator of a very popular Atlanta web site for beauty (atlantasalons.com which was featured in Essence Magazine July 2000).
She is the author of two self published books called "Are you Running a Business OR Just Doin' Hair" and “Independence Day” which has received rave reviews from the Beauty Industry.
She's the owner/operator of Another Look Personal Hair Care Studio in Atlanta, GA & Founder of Beauty Business Success Systems, a company dedicated to educating and empowering professionals in the beauty and wellness industry;

- She is the CO-Owner of Salon Industry Suites a 4,300 sq ft. Salon Suites Complex (New Concept for Independent Beauty Professionals).
She was selected as a "Feature Entrepreneur" in Gospel Today Magazine (July 1999). Her work has graced the pages of many of the top industry magazines such as; Sophisticates Hair, Passion, American Salon and Hype Hair magazines. - She is the owner of “Invisible Hairline Units” a Hair Weaving Lace Front Wig import company - a new hair trend amongst celebrities.
She is also the producer of a four volume Creative Styling Techniques Video/DVD Series. She is the creator/producer/host of the first radio & television talk show about African American hair “Mane Talk”, which is webcast via the internet (manetalk.com). Lastly, her latest project is establishing her non-profit organization for young girls interested in cosmetology called “T.I.C. – Teens In Cosmetology”.
DeShawn resides in Atlanta with her husband and her set of twins.
